The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has been officially unveiled in China. The phablet features a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, and employs 2D arc glass. Under the hood is the MediaTek 6753 SoC carrying an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T720 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 64GB of native storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional memory.
The 13MP rear camera offers Phase Detection Auto Focus, allowing you to get your subject focused in just .1 second. The 5MP front-facing camera takes selfies and handles video chats. A 5020mAh battery is aboard, and dual-charging chips will give you up to a full day's worth of power after just 60 minutes of charge time.
