Galaxy S6 edge smartwatch concept brings Samsung's curvaceous design langauge to wearables
Samsung's smartphone line has reaped the benefits of a completely new take on design. The Galaxy S6 and, in particular, the S6 edge, have been lauded for their premium aesthetics, something Samsung products have supposedly the past. The launch of the Galaxy Tab S2 suggests that Sammy's slate design efforts are right on the money, but what about wearables? Samsung has rolled out an abundance of smartwatches despite the fledgling state of the emerging product category, but none have really wowed audiences with regards to design.
The folks at Maform Design Studio have a few ideas of where Samsung could go in the future, though, lifting elements of the Galaxy S6 edge to come up with a smartwatch rivalling the Apple Watch for looks. A mere concept it may be, but given that the Galaxy Note 5 will almost certainly become a curvier, more stylish phablet, and there's scope for a future wrist computer to follow suit.
Take a look at the images below of the concept, and let us know in the comments whether you'd like to see Samsung -- and indeed the wider smartwatch market -- take this kind of direction in terms of finish.
