UPDATE: A Korean publication speculates now that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S IV right in Apple's homeland this year, at one of its Unpacked events that will take place on March 22. Whether that means the US in general, or somewhere in the Silicon Valley in particular, remains to be seen.
While teasing the public with an eventual announcement of the 8" Galaxy Note at MWC, Samsung's boss JK Shin also let out that we won't be seeing its flagship handset for 2013 announced at the same forum.
Since last year, Samsung is making the all important yearly Galaxy S line newcomer announcement at a separate event, like Apple, so as to give its potential Android bestseller the attention it deserves.
In all cases we are expecting a Full HD AMOLED display, Cortex-A15 processor, and whatever else Samsung's heart desires to throw at us, but it won't be seen next month, that's for sure.
