Galaxy Note 7 won't be announced until tomorrow, but BestBuy is already gunning for its release, posting a "coming soon" pre-order page prematurely, then quickly pulling it down. If not for anything else, this serves as a further proof that the Note 7 will be up for grabs in the US fairly quickly after the initial unveiling tomorrow, and rumor has it that we might see it hit the shelves at carrier stores around August 19th.
As a reminder, Note 7 is expected to sport the same cameras, and same chipsets/RAM combo that is in the S7 and S7 edge, but start you off with 64 GB of storage, and sport a 5.7" curved Super AMOLED Quad HD display. The other notables are a waterproof chassis, iris scanner for an extra biometric ID layer, and a new S Pen software that has apparently been greatly simplified. We can't wait to spill all the beans to you at 11am Eastern, tune in for the festivities.
Thanks for the tip, Kyle!
