Find 9 could be Oppo's first smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 810 processor and 4 GB of RAM

Oppo might soon release a new smartphone from the Find series (which, among a few other models, includes the Find 7 - one of the world's first handsets to sport a Quad HD display). The new device is expected to be called Oppo Find 9, and its front panel may have appeared in a leaked photo somewhere in China.

The photo (seen on the left) suggests that we're dealing with a very large device - though we can't tell if it's larger than the 5.5-inch Find 7. According to Chinese website CNMO, the Find 9 might have an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 4 GB of RAM, thus being Oppo's first smartphone to feature such powerful internals. There is no word on what else the Find 9 will be offering, but we're expecting all the other specs to be high-end.

Earlier today, Oppo launched the 5.9-inch U3, a MediaTek-based Android handset that might not be released outside of Asia. Unlike the U3, the Find 9 could be sold by Oppo globally. We'll let you know more about this as soon as new details are available.
