Exynos 8890 powered version of the Meizu Pro 6 to be priced at $460 USD?
When the Meizu Pro 6 was unveiled a month ago, the device was powered by a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset which includes a deca-core CPU. Following a benchmark test which showed the Pro 6 with the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood, further details about that variant have been discovered on China's Weibo social networking site.

According to the post, not only will this version of the Pro 6 employ the same chipset found on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, it also will sport a curved screen on both sides of the display. This revised Pro 6 model will be a little more pricier than the 64GB model using the deca-core Helio X25 chip. While that phone will be priced at the equivalent of $433 USD, the unit that features the Exynos 8890 SoC will reportedly carry a $460 USD price tag.

There are some similarities between both the original model and the one with the Exynos chip inside. Both versions carry 4GB of RAM and weigh 160 grams. You might recall that the Meizu Pro 5 was driven by the same Exynos 7420 SoC that was used on the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

So far, Meizu has yet to announce a release date for any Pro 6 model.
