Check out the Doogee Nova Y100X; features include 1mm thin bezels and a rear mounted volume rocker
The Doogee Nova Y100X sounds more like a radio station than a phone. But a new smartphone it is. Sporting 1mm thin bezels and a volume rocker mounted along the rear edge of the unit, the manufacturer promotes the device as being made for one-handed use. Expected to be unveiled later this month, the handset is offered in black and white. The touchscreen panel is electroplated with black ink to make the phone appear bezel-less, especially when it is locked. An oleographic coating helps keep fingerprints from showing up all over the phone.
The model features a 5-inch, 720 x 1280 resolution screen that includes 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla Glass protection. Oddly, a promotional video mentions the 5MP front-facing camera and doesn't reveal anything about the rear-facing shooter.
Since the Doogee Nova Y100X will be unveiled sometime this month we should soon learn more about the device including the rest of the specs, pricing and availability. In the meantime, we can say that this is a slim phone that is quite pocketable. Check it out by clicking on the video below.
Thanks for the tip!
