Cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ are leaked
MobileDirect is a company that distributes accessories for smartphones. As a result, it is able to get pictures, specs and other information pertaining to upcoming models before they are officially unveiled. In the past, the company provided us with images showing dummy models of the Apple iPhone 5 and Apple iPhone 6. This morning, MobileDirect has sent us images showing cases for two unannounced Android handsets. Those two are the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+.
What jumps out at us is the cut out for the camera and the flash for the Galaxy Note 5. Based on this design, we could see the handset come with a camera configuration similar to the layout on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. That would result in the flash being placed directly alongside the camera module instead of under it. This dovetails with previously leaked case renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ is rumored to be a larger Galaxy S6 edge with changes on the inside (the Snapdragon 808 SoC is expected to replace the Exynos 7420 chipset under the hood) instead of on the outside. As a result, the case for Galaxy S6 EDGE+ case resembles the one for the Galaxy S6 edge except for its size. Take a gander at the cases by clicking on the slideshow below!
Thanks for the tip!
