Camera-centric Lenovo Vibe Shot launches this month for under $300
Lenovo is now ready to start selling the Vibe Shot, an interesting aluminum-made smartphone that was first presented in March at MWC 2015. Back then, Lenovo said that the handset would be launched in June. However, the Vibe Shot will be released earlier, on May 22, in China (Lenovo's home country).
Chinese customers will be able to buy the Vibe Shot for just 1,799 CNY (around $290). That's a very attractive price for what the handset has to offer, starting with its 16 MP rear camera with OIS and tri-color LED flash.
The Vibe Shot runs Android Lollipop customized with Lenovo's own UI, further featuring: a 5-inch 1080p display (though a version with a 720p screen also exists), an 8 MP front-facing camera, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and a 3000 mAh battery. The Vibe Shot won't be a China-only device, so chances are that you'll be able to buy one in your region, although the price will be around $350, rather than $290. Interested?
