BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 officially launching tomorrow
Research in Motion is sending out training material to partner today, in advance of tomorrows launch of PlayBook OS 2.0 and their Mobile Fusion enterprise tool for managing mobile devices in the workplace. The training material includes introductory and FAQ pages, and other assorted goodies. We had speculated that the massive PlayBook update could come at MWC, but it apparently will be on its way much sooner than that.
This dovetails with reports that independently provided a February 21st date via leaked advertising material. While marketing signs and fliers could always be changed, the partner training information should confirm beyond a reasonable doubt that we’ll be seeing some product launches tomorrow.
We’ve attached a “what’s new” flier below, although the details won’t be surprising; PlayBook owners will be finally be getting a native email client, improved productivity apps, an expanded app store selection (including access to some Android apps) and many other goodies.

The features should be there, the real question is whether the performance and user experience will be up to snuff. If so, Research in Motion may find themselves back in the tablet game.
