Best Buy will give you an iPhone 6 for $1 on-contract if you trade in a working iPhone 5
Last week, we told you that Apple increased the iPhone trade-in value by $15 across all models. Although a welcomed improvement, Apple will only give you $100 worth of credit if you trade in your iPhone 5, which is certainly not the best trade-in value around. If you crave for the iPhone 6 but feel like your iPhone 5 is worth more money, and you also don't want to go through the experience of selling the old handset yourself, you might want to take advantage of a new promotion from Best Buy.

If you trade a working iPhone 5, the retailer is offering the 16GB iPhone 6 at just $1 on a two-year contract with either Sprint or Verizon. The 16GB version of the iPhone 6 is usually priced at $200 with a two-year agreement, meaning that Best Buy is practically offering $199 for your old iPhone 5, which is almost double the credit you'd get by going through Apple directly. The new Best Buy promotion is valid through June 20.

With any new smartphone purchase, Best Buy is also handing out a $25 gift certificate. $199 is also a bit above what you can currently get for a used iPhone 5 on eBay, which makes this trade-in promotion even more valuable. Head over to the source link below to find out more details from the retailer itself.
