A tweet from Asus reveals that the manufacturer plans on following through on its promise to unlock the Asus Transformer Prime. This would allow owners of the quad-core powered tablet to install custom software on the device. Of course, if you decide to go ahead and customize the Asus Transformer Prime., you are setting yourself up to lose the warranty on the tablet.
Asus says it will deliver for Transformer Prime users
Besides giving owners of the Asus Transformer Prime a chance to modify their tablet to their heart's content, the original model is also undergoing some changes next month. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is expected to be updated to Android 4.0 in the middle of next month, as we previously told you.
