Apple will unveil not only new iPhone(s), but new iPad(s) as well on September 10th

Apple is expected to officially announce its new generation iPhone or iPhones on September 10th, but now it seems that the event will be even bigger and Apple will unveil new versions of its iPad and iPad mini.

The information comes buried deep in a Bloomberg article dedicated to Apple planning to open its first retail store in Tokyo, Japan since 2005. Bloomberg, a mostly finance-oriented publication, is known for its spotless track record on Apple rumors, and it’s often speculated that Apple is using the publication to manage expectations. All this of course means that you have all reasons to trust this rumor. However it’s also worth keeping in mind that earlier rumors that new iPads are only expected to officially show up later on, probably in October.



Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 5S, the successor of the current iPhone 5 that will sport unchanged design, but big upgrades under the hood with a new Apple A7 chip and better camera equipped with dual LED flash. The plastic Apple iPhone 5C, commonly referred to as the ‘affordable’ iPhone, is another device that’s rumored to come up soon and it stands out with its colorful plastic shells and price.

In tablets, Apple should bring a new 9.7-inch iPad, the fifth generation. That device is expected to adopt an iPad mini-esque design with narrower side bezel and similar looks. The iPad mini 2 is also allegedly coming up and it should remain identical designwise to its predecessor, but be upgraded under the hood and hopefully feature a ‘Retina’ high-res display.
