Google prepping new Linux 3.8 kernel, can you say Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie?
A new Linux 3.8 kernel repository has been uploaded by Google with the features including “Samsung Exynos DRM advancements, open-source NVIDIA Tegra driver inclusion and lowered RAM usage."

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is based on Linux 3.0 kernel, but Google has uploaded the next 3.3 and 3.4 versions as well, for the Android 4.2.2 on its Nexus 4 handset.

We can't help but wonder then, if the Linux 3.8 kernel repository is not up for the work on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, although, with the suspected unveiling less than 3 months from now, we doubt its kernel hasn't been readied for prime time yet. Google's I/O will be coming in May, so we should now more then.
