AT&T will also sell the Motorola Moto 360
With Verizon expected to start shipping steel-banded versions of the Motorola Moto 360 on November 11th, AT&T has announced that it too, will be selling the Android Wear powered smartwatch. The version of the watch being offered by AT&T will include a black or gray leather wristband. The Moto 360 will join the LG G Watch as the two Android Wear flavored timepieces currently available from the nation's second largest carrier.
While AT&T will announce pricing and availability later, the timepiece is off to a great start. The Moto 360 has been sold out at locations including Motorola.com, the Google Play Store, and both online and brick and mortar Best Buy stores.
The Motorola Moto 360 offers a 1.56 inch backlit LCD screen (protected by Gorilla Glass 3), with a resolution of 320 x 290. That works out to a pixel density of 205ppi. It is driven by a TI OMAP 3 processor with 512MB of RAM. The watch comes with 4GB of native storage, a heart rate monitor, pedometer, and Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity. The device is IP67 which means that it should survive being submerged to as deep as 3.2 feet, for as long as 30 minutes.
