A choir of 300 Android devices performs a custom version of the Ode to Joy in Google's latest ad
There might not be a better slogan to explain the fragmentation and variety of Android than "Be together. Not the same." It perfectly describes Google's goals - to both empower and preserve the uniqueness of each and every user.
Ever since its most recent developers' conference, Google I/O 2014, Mountain View has been treating us to a surplus of ads regarding the "Be together. Not the same." motto; the latest and probably one of the best ones, Friends Furever, starred a plethora of various animals that played and hanged out together.
There's a new kid on the block, though - Google's latest Android ad goes back to basics and showcases three hundred different Android devices, each of which displays a separate singing Androidify character. Brought together by Google's Japanese branch, the smartphone setup performs a tech-y variant of one of the more popular classic tunes, Beethoven's Ode to Joy, which is better known as the hymn of the European Union.
