16GB Xiaomi Mi 4 gets price cut in India
The other day the 64GB version of the Xiaomi Mi 4 received a price cut in India. The device is now priced at the equivalent of $312 USD. Today, Xiaomi followed up with a price reduction on the 16GB model. After taking a knife to the price tag, that variant will now cost Indian consumers the equivalent of $234 USD. There is plenty of competition in the region and Xiaomi is hoping that cutting the price on both variants of the Mi 4 will spur sales in the country.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 carries a 5-inch LCD screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. This works out to a 441ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 801 SoC drives the handset, and includes a quad-core 2.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 330 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB/64GB of internal, non-expandable storage. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the handset while an 8MP snapper is found on front. The 3080mAh battery charges to 60% in under an hour, and MIUI 6 runs in top of Android 4.4.3.
