The i580 is the latest and the most feature-rich ruggedized iDEN handset officially announced for Sprint Nextel. The successor of the i530 has the same functionality as the high-end i870 with the main features including microSD memory slot, which allows storing hours of music on a card, 1.3-megapixel camera with mirror, Bluetooth, 262k color screen and of course a robust speakerphone and Push-to-Talk. The phone is made of a solid embossed material, with the front and back plates are silver-colored furrower surface for comfortable grip. Like the rest of the rugged iDEN phones, the i580 conforms to military specifications for rain, dust, shock and vibration, making it just ideal for anyone working in extreme environments.
The handset should hit the Sprint Nextel store shelved in the 2nd quarter.

W315:
The W315 has the same sleek black detailing, unique rounded shape, tactile, soft-touch housing as the PEBL, and although its inordinately shape the phone is held comfortably. When opened, it shows its main design difference from the PEBL - the keypad. The one on the PEBL is flat, as the RAZR's , while the W315 has regular rubber-like keypad. Gone is the VGA camera as well, and the display has been scaled down to CSTN with resolution of 128x160 pixels. The external display is still vertically positioned grayscale.
In a nutshell, if you want a very cool looking CDMA phone, and only care about its voice capabilities, the W315 is the phone for you. Although it is not officially announced, we expect the W315 to be available for Verizon Wireless sometime in Q3.
Motorola W315
The VI-C290 is the first Motorola Vision-enabled CDMA phone and is already released by Sprint PCS. The handset is an entry level clamshell with mediocre 65k color STN internal display and no external one. Due to this, when closed, it has clear simple lines, with only Motorola and Sprint logos on the front cover.
Through Sprint PCS Vision and WAP2.0 internet browser, the C290 can download images, ring tones, and games.
